"A good reader/performer can make or break a book. Scott Fortney does an excellent job with Wind in the Ashes by William W. Johnstone, as I suspect Scott does with most everything. It is easy to tell he enjoys this book and storyline, for when a person enjoys their work they seem to do a better job. Scott makes the characters come alive, his enthusiasm for the storyline and the characters is very evident. I have read this book several times and enjoyed it as much this time as I did the first time. To me, it's important for the reader to be able to project himself into the character, this gives each one its own personality. Scott does this very well. He seems to live the characters..."

"I thought the book (The Destroyer: Chinese Puzzle) was surprisingly well done. I have many audiobooks and most are not that enjoyable to listen to. The reader is just that, a reader. He speaks the words that appear on the printed page. Gray (Gleason) did much more than that. He was acting out the parts. I was very surprised at his ability to convey meanings and emotions for the character's words. I have told several people that I would forget at times that only one man was doing all of the voices."
